About me

My name is Carla and I've been building custom frames for clients for over 25 years.  I love what I do because I get to work with interesting people and their treasured artwork and memorabilia.  It means a lot to me that they trust me to take great care of things that are really important to them.

Living in Austin really is A Frame of Mind, different from any other place I know. It's unique to me because of the unusual places to go and interesting people to meet. I have lived here for 26 years and some of my favorite things about the city are the eclectic vibes and true characters. There are so many funky places to go, hang out and enjoy the views.

When working with clients, I listen to each person's wants and needs and will do everything I can to exceed expectations.  I personally handle each and every piece.  Typically I try to create a more classic style so it doesn't look dated in a few years.

Collaborating with my clients is important to me so that they will have a piece that they will enjoy for years to come.  I personally put your frame package together to ensure the greatest care is taken.  I place the highest focus on making sure their artwork is handled delicately and is presented in a way that the artwork will stand out and not the framing.
